The Zahir - Week 2 - The white little girl

In our Week 1 post we met Mikhail, a schizophrenic epileptic, who tells the narrator about ‘The Voice’ which guides him and who had a vision of a white little girl.

Mikhail narrates the incident to his mother, but his mother is terrified and considers it a hallucination. After a week he again sees the white little girl floating in the air as they smile at each other but this time when he tries to speak to her, she doesn’t respond. Mikhail questions his classmates about the little girl but is threatened with being expelled from the school if he ever speaks about his ‘visions’. Mikhail continues to see that white little girl for a whole month.
